eBiGH Team Event - Season 2007-2008

eBiGH Team Event & Sandy presentation - 21/06/08

There were enough players to make up four teams of four in this seasons round robin eBiGH team event - which, also doubled up as a belated surprise presentation for ex-chairman, Sandy Stewart in the local Indian Palace Curry House.

After a laid back but on occasions energetic event that everyone seemed to enjoy, it was the sponsors team (Daisy, Sean Miller, Chris Ambrose and Craig Omand) that lifted the tankard with a larger amount of points to the other three.

I mentioned that the winners, 'lifted the trophy.....'!!!  Well, if 'Oor Seanie' can have a quick clean of his bedroom and find the tankard, then all will be put in the past...!!!

Following the squash and meal, a well deserved surprise presentation and speech was performed excellently by James Henderson to remind Sandy of some of his past/present exploits, during the 'Leg-Ends' memorable time with Thurso Squash Club.  I'm not saying he's finished - so will leave it with '...to be continued...!!!'; or if it was like a Die Hard movie series, 'Leg-End 2'; or a french film, '...Leg fin Part Deux...'; or a porn movie, '...!!!'; I digress.  Get your a*se back Sandy whenever you can manage and we will all get your blast.

Congratulations to Ian Adamson on a job well done for his organisation of these two events, to everyone that took part and hope next seasons can be just as good, if not better.
