Captain Birds-Eye..... - Season 2007-2008 - 12/01/08

An unfortunate accident from the slightest touch of a squash ball gave Big Bird, 'a bit of a fright', during the opening couple of points in the first game of the Taylor Handicap Trophy.

After further diagnosis in Dunbar Hospital, Thurso and slight loss of sight, it was decided that a rushed trip to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness was required to further ascertain the full situation.

Captain Bird is pulling through, now but if the worst had come to the worst, I would just like him to know, I would've stepped up to the plate and given him one of my eyes as a donor replacement......!!!!!
