Doherty Nicks it in bad conditions...

The midweek sessions of the Summer League got under way in dreadful conditions last Wednesday with Nicky Doherty obviously warming up for the weekend with a winning 34 point total, one better than Ali Simpson.

The weather and scoring improved the following day when Gavin Souter prevailed with 39 points, one ahead of Doug Mackenzie who received his second handicap cut of the season. Sandy Stewart was a further point back for third place with Michael Forbes also receiving some monetary reward for his round of 36 points and fourth place.
