Summer League 12 - 09&10 July 08
MacLeod triumphant with massive 44 points...

There were a couple of superb performances in last week's Summer League with Jim McLeod scoring 44 points to win on Wednesday and Club Champion Doug Thorburn shooting a gross 65 to finish second on Thursday.

McLeod finished four points clear of Keith Foubister and Colin Chessor with Hamish Boyd and Donald Sutherland a point further adrift.

Sid Campbell was the Thursday winner on 40 points with Peter Knight sharing 39 points with Thorburn in third place.

Jimmy Bruce, Alan Swanson and Gavin Souter all finished on 37 points.

Andrew Mackay indicated that his League challenge is far from over after joining Peter Sangster in the lead with 291 points as a best eight round aggregate.
