Mens Tournaments - Season 2008-2009
Eclectic - Latest Standings -
13 August 08 The EGGS Summer Eclectic is also approaching the half way stage and is currently lead by Donald Jack on nett 60.5, a shot and a half clear of regular playing partner, Ian Manson.
Eclectic 6 - 12 August 08 Tuesday's sixth round was a triumph for Les King who had a couple of four point holes in his 39 point total to edge out Manson by a point. Dave Lyall was two points further back.
Eclectic 5 - 05 August 08 Donald Jack goes one better than the following week to beat David Warren on count back to win with 41 points. Ronald Mackay and Joe Duffy had fine 39 point totals.
Eclectic 4 - 29 July 08 Donald Jack, with 36 points, finished second to Doug McCowan in Round 4 after McCowan produced an excellent front nine of 22 points on the way to a winning 38 point total.
Eclectic 3 - 22 July 08 The seniors had much improved conditions on Tuesday for the latest round of the EGGS Summer Stableford with Jim Hawthorn coming out on top with 40 points, 21 of those coming on the way in despite a blank at the seventeenth. Les King, who marked the winner's card had a good day himself with 37 points for second place. Ian Manson, Donald Jack and David Warren all finished on the 36 point mark.
Eclectic 2 - 15 July 08 Ian Fraser was denied back to back wins in the EGGS Summer Eclectic after losing out to Jim Youngson on count back after both scored 37 points in the wind on Tuesday. George Mitchell, Ian Manson and Donald Jack were next best on 36 points. Predictably, even at this early stage of the competition, Jack is leading, albeit by half a shot from Fraser, Manson and Dave Thom.
Eclectic 1 - 08 July 08 Scoring in the opening round of the EGGS Summer Eclectic on Tuesday was understandably a bit higher but respectable none the less as Ian Fraser won first place on count back from Sandy Wright after both returned totals of 40 points. Jim Hawthorn, Ron Ritchie and Dave Lyall all finished two points behind the leading pair. End-of-Document |
