Bert Loomes passes away - April 08

Thurso members were saddened last week by the death of their vice president of many years, Bert Loomes. Bert was captain of the club in 1982 and, despite having to give up playing a few years ago, was a regular visitor to the club and took a keen interest, particularly in any improvements being made to the course and other facilities.
