Mojo takes course by storm

Saturday, another sunny summer day, saw the field compete for the June Medal and the members are getting used to the links features of Reay golf course.

In Division 2, the top 3 players all managed par or under. In 3rd place was Kenny Chalmers 83(14)69 just behind 2nd placed Andy Swan 85(17)68.

The top spot was taken by Andy Bain, who these days is never far away with a good, handicap reducing, 81(14)67.

Division 1 players are definitely getting more used to the hard conditions of the links course with 9 scoring net par or lower.

The top 3 however were clear of the rest with Stuart Greig taking 3rd place with 77(11)66, a score that he might have expected to win as may David MacKay in 2nd place with 73(8)65 but both had to look on as Donald Mowat took the course by the scruff and returned 72(9)63 to take 1st place.
