Halkirk FC take part in the Caithness Amateur Football Association leagues and are known as the 'Wildcats'.
Like all teams there have been some highs and lows throughout their history but they will always be a dominant force in the local and Highlands & Islands' events.

2010 SQuaD/TeaM
2010 is the debut season for new Halkirk FC manager, Stephen 'Sexy' Sutherland.
Sexy has been assisting for a couple of years but has now been promoted to control a mixture of young and experienced players.

The young men of Halkirk like their counterparts throughout the North had probably been playing football from about 1880 onwards but with no organised league or association this would have been on a friendly basis.

Recreation Park receives a pounding from Halkirk FC, April to August & Halkirk United FC, August to April - with the Halkirk Highland Games also on show once a year.
The 'CHA-CHA-CHA' pavilion is kitted out well for teams & officials to feel comfortable in the surroundings - click.
