No complaints with this scoreline as we were well beaten by a very good Groats side.

We made a poor start to the game and conceded a pretty soft goal early on but then managed to compete for most of the first half without posing too much of a threat to their keeper.

Just when it looked like we would get to half time with just the one goal deficit, we conceded yet another soft goal.

Half Time 2 - 0

Nige made a tactical change at the break and it seemed to work pretty well as we more than held our own for the first twenty minutes of the second period but were again unable to work their keeper, although Kitten did go close with a free-kick.

The next goal was going to be vital and, unfortunately for us, more bad defending meant that it was the home side that scored it to put the result beyond doubt.

They soon increased their tally to four with a well-taken goal to put a somewhat harsh looking appearance to the scoreline.

Well beaten by a good side, even though the final score may have been a tad harsh on us.

The effort and commitment put in were fine but we really need to put a stop to conceding soft goals or it could prove to be a long season!!
