CBA Dinner Dance - Season 2011-2012 - 14/04/11

Senior Player of the Year, Shona Mackay (left) & Junior, Adam Higgins.

Castletown Badminton Club organised this seasons' festivities for the Annual Caithness Badminton Association - End of Season Dinner Dance and presentation in the local Castletown Hotel.

A filling carvery meal including a selection of meats and veg followed by a choice of scrumptious puddings hit the spot and it was on to the presentation ceremony.

Andrew Falconer signed up to the vice-chairperson role at the AGM thinking it would come to nothing but, as Carole Begg had another date in her calendar to fulfil, he became the master of ceremonies.

Shona Mackay organised & announced and Davie Swanson presented trophies to the appropriate winners and runners-up of ALL events.

Local band, Broadsheet Rhetoric made the room vibrate with their mixture of tunes to keep the audience moving.

Finally, congratulations and well done to Janice Campbell & Andy Nicolson for their excellent work and organisation of this event.
