League v Gordonstoun, Dingwall - 03/12/11
Caithness Ladies 29 - 43 Gordonstoun
Caithness Ladies Netball team Dynamite travelled to Dingwall for the December fixture of the Highland League to take on Gordonston.
Dynamite got off to a slow start lacking a bit of confidence in their play and made a few errors.
At the end of the first quarter the team were well behind and unsure of what to do to get back into the game.

Thanks to some coaching from one of the highland umpires who was watching the game, the team settled slightly more but could not close the gap before half time.
Further coaching tips at half time helped the team with their individual positions, tighter defending and great rebounding from Leanne McClure and Roisin Lisle in the defensive circle helped Dynamite regain possession of the ball.
With controlled passing up the court between Fiona Angus, Katrina Finlay and Kirsty Wood saw them feed accurate balls into shooters Shona Mackay and Audrey Robson who had both settled their nerves by this point, working well within the circle and making some great shots.
The more controlled play during this 15 minutes saw Caithness Ladies win this quarter and get the confidence boost they needed to keep fighting for every ball.
Heading into the final quarter the team were keen to continue their great play.
Lynsay Hermanez came back on as GK and with excellent defence helped to reduce the number of shots Gordonston were scoring and regain possession for Caithness.
The team continued their great play throughout the final quarter and rattled the opposition; however there wasn't enough time on the clock to close the 14 goal difference and the game finished 43-29.
A great effort from the team and a brilliant second half performance showed the improvements the team are making.
