North District Cross Country, Elgin - 15/11/2008

The third fixture this season was then held at Elgin over what was a shorter and therefore faster coarse with only one very steep but brief incline.

First finisher for CAAC in the Under 11 Girls was Sarah MacDonald who in her second only cross country race delighted her club mates and parents with a tenth place finish.

The placings from Dornoch in the Under 11 Boys were repeated at Elgin for Lewis Holmes and Ruairdh Gollan with Murray Mackay securing the first team placing. Of note in the under 13 Girls was Sharron Mackay who in finishing tenth beat her previous best placing by four places.

Ross Gollan scored his third consecutive win and again took the team home in first place along with Alastair Cooper and Rorie Stewart.

In the Under 15 Girls, Emma Dunnett demonstrated complete dominance by not only finishing 50 seconds ahead of the Under 15 field, but also showing the under 17 woman a clean pair of heels and finishing some 10 seconds ahead of Under 17 Eleanor Duncan from Forres Harriers. Again along with Oonagh Dunnett and Sarah Mackinnon the girls took team honours.

Jake Anderson went one better from his Dornoch run and came home in third place, taking second team placing along with David Gardner and Rob Murdoch. Duncan Paterson continued his good form with another fourth placing in the Under 17 Men's race.
